Obituary: Willie L. Denmark, 86, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, June 15, 2026. Willie was born on February 3, 1940 in Shellman, GA to the late Minnie and Willie R. Denmark. He was employed as a charter bus driver until retirement.
Willie sang and played the guitar for many years for the Mighty Allstars band. He loved his family with all his heart. He was a man that would give his all to help anyone. Willie provided and protected his family with all his might. He was a loving and caring man that was determined to enjoy life. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish: devoted wife of 66 years, Gloria J. Denmark; children: Pamela (Antonio) McCree, Reginald (Clemtine) Denmark, Vennis (Sarah) Denmark, Willie (Gussie) Denmark Jr., Darrin (Sharon) Denmark, Ronald (Michelle) Denmark, Jody Johnson; siblings: Willie R. (Seletha) Denmark Jr., Peggy Sept, Dollie (Gerald) Seymour; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Community Baptist Church, 651 Campanella Avenue, Orlando with Rev. Gabriel Lester, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Denmark was a good neighbor to all in the Richmond Heights neighborhood. I enjoyed our talks sitting under their carport. His kindness will surely be missed. God’s peace to you all.
