Purpose of the Site
The Site shares information about Postell’s Mortuary and our services, publishes obituaries and service details, and gives friends and family a place to share condolences. Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only.
Pricing and Funeral Arrangements
Any prices, packages, or descriptions of services on the Site are general information and may change without notice. They are not an offer or a contract. Funeral, cremation, and pre-need arrangements are made only through a signed agreement with Postell’s Mortuary. In keeping with the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule, our General Price List is available on request, in person or by phone at (407) 295-3857.
Pre-need information on the Site describes general options and is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Pre-need contracts in Florida are governed by Chapter 497, Florida Statutes, and the terms of your individual agreement.
Obituaries and Memorial Content
Obituaries, photographs, videos, and service details are published with the permission of the families we serve. Service dates, times, and locations can change; please call us to confirm details before traveling. If you are a family member and would like an obituary or related content corrected or removed, please contact us.
Condolences and Comments
We welcome messages of sympathy and remembrance. By posting a comment, you agree that it will be respectful and that you will not post anything that:
- is abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, or obscene;
- is false, misleading, or invades anyone’s privacy;
- advertises or promotes products, services, or other websites;
- violates anyone’s copyright or other rights; or
- is spam or contains harmful code.
You keep ownership of what you post, but you give Postell’s Mortuary permission to display it on the Site as part of the memorial. Comments may be screened for spam. We may edit, decline, or remove any comment at our discretion, including at the request of the family. Comments reflect the views of the people who post them, not those of Postell’s Mortuary.
Intellectual Property
The Site’s design, text, logos, and graphics belong to Postell’s Mortuary or are used with permission. Obituary text and photographs belong to the families who provided them. You may view, print, and share obituaries and Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as sharing a loved one’s obituary with friends and family. You may not copy, republish, or sell Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Videos and Livestreams
Memorial videos and livestream recordings may be shown on the Site through Facebook or YouTube. Your use of that content is also subject to those platforms’ own terms of service. Availability of livestreams and recordings depends on those services and cannot be guaranteed.
Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site links to websites operated by others, including our online flower store, grief-support organizations, government agencies, and social media. Flower orders are placed with and fulfilled by a third-party store under its own terms. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, or privacy practices.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Site. For example, you may not try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, interfere with its operation, collect information about other users, or use automated tools to copy large amounts of content.
Disclaimer
We work hard to keep the Site accurate and available, but the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Postell’s Mortuary makes no warranties of any kind about the Site, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Postell’s Mortuary will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content or third-party service linked from it. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute relating to the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
