Obituary:

Ida May Jagon, 92, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Ida was born on July 26, 1933 in St. Andrew, Jamaica, WI. Ida was raised in a Christian, loving and close-knit family. At an early age, she acknowledged the Lord as her personal savior. She lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and love for others. Aside from her church activities, she enjoyed gardening.

Ida’s greatest pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She generously poured her perceptive wisdom, unconditional love, comforting warmth and unshakable support to each of them. She taught them, through example, what kindness looks like, what patience feels like and what it means to be loved. She modeled the Golden Rule and encouraged her family to treat others as they would want to be treated. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Ida leaves her precious memories with her 8 children, Maxine Thompson, Pauline Cameron, Sharon (Victor) Givans, Lark (Garfield) Wallace, Faith Narcisse, Judith (Sean) Notice, James Jagon, Joseph Jagon; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM, Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating. Interment: Dr. Phillips Cemetery, Orlando.

Our Grandma Ida was truly the heart of our family. Her love, strength, wisdom, and prayers shaped generations of us. She stood beside us through every milestone and always reminded us what faith, resilience, and unconditional love looked like. Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind in all of us. Rest peacefully, Grandma. Your love will live on forever. 🤍

Our beloved mother has gone home to be with the Lord.
The Matriarch of the family. The only parent I knew. As much as I miss your physical body, I am rejoicing, for you are with the Father and I Know I will see you again.
Forever in My Heart Mom.. Love You.

They say people truly live on through the love they leave behind. If that’s true, then Grandma will live on in all of us forever RIP.

A mother is someone who walks beside you from the very beginning. She holds your hand when you’re small, guides you as you grow, and continues loving you long after you’ve found your own way in the world. My mother was that and so much more. She was my first teacher, my protector, my comfort, and my constant source of strength. Through every stage of life, she showed me what it meant to care deeply for others, to keep going even when life was hard, and to love without conditions. I love you mom and will miss you forever.

Ms J you truly have instilled in your children, grit, determination, ambition, and the importance of family. Your spirit will live on via the legacy you’ve established. Finally, I will miss our games.
