Obituary:
Fritz Michel, 76, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Fritz was born on July 14, 1949 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He was employed as a warehouse fork lift operator for several years. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish loving memories of a life well lived: wife, Mona Michel; 7 children, Carline Yaisah Mehu-Michel, Fabienne (Tony) Cutler, Edwin (Rachel) Michel, Valdimir Michel, Nathalie (Mark) Salazar, Samantha (Kedrin) Shivers, Reginald Boucicaut; 1 brother, Robenson Charles; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 801 N. Hastings Street, Orlando with Deacon Armand Carpentier, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
