Obituary:

Tylek DeVaughn “Redd Dog” Andrews, 47, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023. Tylek, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on January 19, 1976 to Helen Stewart Andrews and the late Floyd Andrews, Sr. Professionally, Tylek worked as a shipping contractor for several years.

Tylek loved watching sports, playing cards, and was known to everyone as a jokester. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tylek is survived by his daughter, Tylyiah Andrews; mother, Helen S. Andrews; brother, Floyd (Shakenya) Andrews, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, 1:00PM at Mt. Olive Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 745 Woods Avenue, Orlando Pastor Anhtony Oliver, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

    My cousin… My friend.,. My King. There are so many stories so many memories, so many unspoken thoughts and cares. I love you! I’m glad that I told you every time I saw you no matter how much I got on your nerves little BIG cousin.     Tylek Tylek you will truly be missed. I will definitely miss your crazy jokes you would call with every day to Boosie sayingyouvcan cook this better or saying you’re going jump him when you see him and as always I said don’t forget I’m coming too lol.Our best man forever!!     Tylek words can’t explain the way that I feel good times and bad times through me telling you my deep dark secrets that you never told a soul from me traveling from Indiana to Florida to visit you the times we shared you loved my children and the love they have for you the feelings were mutual and will never be broken I love you so much dear friend rest easy till we meet again ~ Maria ~
