Obituary:
Trudy Mae Taylor, 96, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Trudy was born on August 19, 1929 in Union Springs, AL to the late Arcenia M. and Rochelle Finney. Professionally, she was worked as a day care operator for several years.
Trudy Mae was a woman with a heart of gold. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to family gatherings and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Taylor, Wanda Taylor, Larry (Lillie) Finney; sisters, Gwendolyn Levy, Katie Bess Casey; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4PM – 6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, 11:00 AM at Fellowship Bible Church of Orlando, 310 N. Hiawassee Road, Orlando with Pastor Joel Hayes, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

I’ve known Ms Taylor for so many years. She has helped me and so many more. I visited her in Orlando and she was the same wonderful person, centered in God. Rest well our friend.
Ms Trudy was a wonderful mother, and grandmother and friend. She will be missed very much . I loved her dearly.
Mother Trudy Taylor lived a life governed by God’s Word….a woman committed to goodwill towards mankind. She shared the gospel, her life testimonies and even her great apple pie and other recipes in order that all could be blessed by her presence and through her life and living! She was loved and will be missed. We will see you in that Great Getting Up Morning, Mama Trudy! ❤️
