Obituary:
Pamelia O. “PAM” Bonner, 76, of Orlando, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 7, 2026. Pamelia was born on November 28, 1949 in Quitman, GA. She completed her formal education and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Fort Valley State University, laying the foundation for a life defined by resilience, dedication, and service.
Professionally, Pam served her community as an educator, and taught for over 30 years with Orange County Public Schools, finishing her career at Carver Middle School. Her devotion to the craft was driven by her enthusiasm for positively impacting students and working alongside other passionate educators.
Pam leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends. She is survived by her son, Thaddeus O. Johnson; 2 siblings, Sandra (Bernard) Hadley, Audrey Jones; fiancé, Roger Murphy; 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, former students, colleagues, and numerous friends.
Pamelia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her nurturing spirit, her strength as a mother, and her love for teaching. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4PM – 6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, 11:00 AM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor John Roberts, officiating and Apostle Dorothy Travis, eulogist.
