Obituary:

Louise “Granny Lou” Ingram, 94, received her angelic escort from earth to heaven on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Louise was born to the late Rebecca and Idus Wade Sr. on March 1, 1930 in Edison, Georgia.

At an early age Louise confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Once she gave her life to the Lord, she promised to serve Him till death. That promise she fulfilled. She loved to sing praises to God! She sang as she completed most task, especially cooking, washing and during late night prayers.

Louise was a woman firmly committed to her faith in God, to her family, their well-being, and to her servant call, assisting others in the church and community. She loved her church, Word of God Church PAW, Inc. She served God’s people as a Choir Member, cook for the day care center, and an usher for both the local church and the Pentecostal Assembly of the World for over 20 years. She was an encourager in the Word of God, Prayer Warrior, servant to the sick and those in need, and mentor to many. Her favorite passions were eating, praying, cooking, helping others, and watching her favorite TV Shows, Law and Order and Judge Judy. She was also a member of the Holden Heights Senior Citizens Club. “Granny Lou”, as she was affectionately called, was a devoted and loving mother, sister, grandmother, servant, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

Louise is survived by her loving family: six children: Jannie Ingram, Johnnie Ruth (Julius) Price, Alice (Larrie) Coleman, Dorothy Ann Ingram; Walter Lee (Maggie) Ingram Jr., Darold A. (Dianne) Ingram, Sr.; sister, Marie Wade; brother, Idus (Terri) Wade; 16 grandchildren: and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 11:00 AM at Word of God Church PAW Inc., 1733 Mercy Drive, Orlando with Bishop Arden Luster, officiating and Bishop Billy G. Newton, eulogist. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
