Obituary:
Leroy Williams, Sr., 73, of Orlando departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Leroy, affectionately known as ‘Red’, was born in Valdosta, GA on November 23, 1952 to the late Mae Daisy and Eddie Williams.
Leroy was educated in the Orange County Public School system and graduated from Jones High School, class of 1971. He later enlisted in the US Navy and served his country honorably. After his military service, he worked as a press operator with Designer’s Press Inc. until retirement. To those who knew Leroy, he will be remembered as a caring, respectable person who was willing to lend a helping hand. He was a member of St. Mark AME Church, Orlando. In his spare time, Leroy enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Martha Williams; 2 sons, Adrian (Marquita) Williams, Leroy (Carolyn) Williams; 2 siblings, Gloria Jean Williams, Eddie (Ada) Williams Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, 1:00 PM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell with full military honors.
