Obituary:

Leo C. Dinkins, Jr., 52 of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Leo was born on January 20, 1968 in Joliet, Illinois to Mary Ellis and Leo Dinkins, Sr.
While at Vero Beach Senior High School, he played football. Professionally, he was employed in lawn and Farren tree care services prior to his demise. He also worked for a cable company. He attended Rock of Salvation Church of God, Orlando until his health began to fail. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his sons, Leo Dinkins, III, Exavier Dinkins; loving mother, Mary Ellis; brothers, Timothy (Lisa) Dinkins, Tyrone Dinkins; grandmother, Katie Baker; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00PM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Jimmie L. Green, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Leo I’m sorry to hear the bad news or perhaps good news that you are resting in peace with your heavenly father this is your brother your best friend and Godfather to your child Xavier we’ve had great times together you know that Gifford you were my running partner so many memories the last conversation we had was probably in 2019 at it was so deep so powerful so funny and so memorable I love you thank you for being my friend and I will always miss you
