Obituary:
Lawrence “Larry” Washington, 78, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Lawrence was born December 23, 1947 to the late Gladys and Sipeoy Washington in Moore Haven, Florida. He worked in a machine factory over the years.
He leaves to celebrate his life wife, Phyllis Harris; son, Lawrence Washington Jr.,; step son, Keith Bryant; brothers, Sipeoy (Darlene) Washington, Denis Washington; sisters, Joann Odoms, Peggy Washington, Francine Johnson, Diane Croskey, Melody Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Though gone from our sight, never from our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 2:00 PM until services begin at 3:00 PM in Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Wendell C. Webster, officiating.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Larry. I met him a few years ago through my husband and he was such an awesome neighbor to everyone in our neighborhood. To his wife and children hold on the beautiful memories and look to the Lord during this difficult time.
