Obituary:
Florence Sensa Edwards, 91, of Orlando, departed this life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Florence was born on January 5, 1931 in Sanford, Florida to the late Hattie and Lawrence Cooper, Sr.
Florence dedicated her life to serving God, her family and community. Professionally, she worked as a nurses aide and later as a bus monitor with OCPS until she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Diane Humphrey, Ziller Pringle, Alvinna Nwoko, Maudest Dillard, Savletta Priester, Georgia Williams; sister, Zillersteen Bellamy; 8 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 3PM-5PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, 11:00AM at Fellowship Baptist Church of Pine Hills, 6225 Clarcona Road, Orlando with Pastor Arthur D. Sims, Sr., officiating. Interment: Pineywood Cemetery, Winter Park.
