Obituary:

Collis E. “Snoopy” Roberson, 81, of Adel, GA, departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Collis was born on April 24, 1945 in Williamston, NC.

After completing his formal education, he enlisted in the US Army and served his country proudly until he was honorably discharged. He later became a truck driver until retirement.

In his personal life, Collis found joy in many simple pleasures. He had a deep love for eating his favorite food, watching western films and shows, and driving trucks, all of which brought him comfort and happiness. Above all, Collis cherished spending time with his family, and valued every moment shared with loved ones.

Our beloved “Snoopy” will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his devoted children: Walter Green, Terrance (Maureen) Roberson Sr., Jacquetta (Keith) Johnson, Stacy Roberson, Rosella Godfrey; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; a devoted companion, Lorine Bray; and a host of other relatives and numerous friends.

The family will host a visitation/wake service on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11AM – 1PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
