Obituary:
Charlie Vernell McIntosh, 86, of Kissimmee, entered her eternal rest on Friday, July 24, 2026. Charlie was born on September 3, 1939 in Bartow, FL to the late Eloise Richardson.
After graduating from High School, Charlie worked in the Orange County Department of Corrections as an officer. She was an active member of St. Mark AME Church, Orlando, serving willingly in several capacities over the years.
Charlie leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends. She is survived by her devoted children, Diane Anderson, Natasha (Anthony) Jones, Leonard (Kathy) Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Michael (Leslie) Anderson, Andre Anderson, Jessie (Latasha) McIntosh; siblings, Eddie (Janet) Mattock, Barbara Mattock, Linda Richardson, Patrick Mattock; 17 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Rev. Dr. Marcus Green, eulogist. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
