Obituary:
Arthur “Sonny” Daniels, 69, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2020. Arthur was born on August 27, 1950 in Shellman, Georgia to Marjorie Martin and Cosby Daniels. He was educated in the Public School system and later worked in construction. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Sonny leaves to cherish his memories: 2 daughters, Natisha Brooks, Sheena Hayes; 4 step children, Jerome Smith, Shannon Hayes, Edris Hayes, Cynque Thompson; brother, Cosby Daniels, Jr.; sisters, Marion Williams, Mary (Pringle) Simmons, Nellie Whitted, Lorraine Daniels, Georgia Ann Stephens, Frenchy Daniels-Ellington, Cynthia Major, Deborah Daniels-Henry (Roy); special friend, Barbara Hayes; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Arnold Porter, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville.
Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

My deepest condolences to the family at their loss, and may the Lord comfort your hearts and give you peace. Sonny will truly be missed.
My heart is hurting for the Daniels family, my lifelong friends. Remember you can do all things through God who gives you strength. You are not alone, Jesus is by your side. One day you will feel peace and joy in your hearts for having “Sonny” in your life. I’m grieving with you.
Sonny Boy I am going to miss you my dear brother. I am still in disbelief. God said my son it time for you to come home. I promise to take care of your wiffffe. Lord, I am going to miss you saying that. I promise to take care of my sister. It”s going to be hard I will be there for her. I know Ms. Snook is so glad to see her son in-law. Rest in Heaven my brother til we meet again.
