Obituary:
Pearl T. Borens, 83, of Winter Garden, Florida departed this life on Monday, August 17, 2026. Pearl, affectionately known as Tean, was born on February 10, 1943 in Brownsville, TN to the late Addie and Robert Owens Jr. Professionally, she worked in the casting department with the Walt Disney Company until retirement.
Pearl was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She was a former member of Carter Tabernacle CME Church, and sung in the Mass Choir. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for her children and family to follow. She was a devoted sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pearl leaves her precious memories with her loving two siblings, Earl C. Owens, Mary Hudson; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until services begin at 1:00 PM, Orlando West Ministries, 3005 N. Powers Drive, Orlando. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
