Obituary:
Tawanda E. Johnson, 65, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Tawanda, affectionately known as Tiny, was born on July 17, 1961 in Coleman, Florida to the late Ruth and Charles M. Towns Sr. Professionally, she worked as a waitress for several years.
Tawanda was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her beloved family. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tawanda leaves her precious memories with her husband, Anthony Johnson; 4 children, Brandon (Lassette) Henry Sr., William Henry Sr., Jarvis Henry, Joslyn Henry; 3 siblings; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Church of God- Washington Park, 4454 Conley Street, Orlando with Bishop Harold Lee Hardemon Jr., officiating.
