Obituary:
Josephine Woodard Lovette, 89, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, October 12, 2020. Josephine was born on January 20, 1931 in Poulan, GA to Charlie Mae and George Woodard, Sr. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Orlando, serving in several capacities until her health declined.
Josephine dedicated her life to service, her family and community. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the Lovette family, who instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Josephine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her: devoted husband, James Lovette; daughters, Betty Pickens, Shirley (Altie) Hill, Sharon (Clarence) Green, Linda (Wayne) McNelty; sons, Tom (Gloria) Lovette, Daniel (Mona) Lovette, David Lovette, Michael Lovette; 13 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service for immediate family only will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020, 11:00AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL.

To the Lovette Family, I would like to extend my Deepest Sympathy to the family, I feel as though I lost part of my family as well, the three sisters l grew up under, Mrs. Vera, Mrs. Jones and now Mrs. Josephine.
