Obituary:
Wortley Harrison “Journey Boy” Spence, 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, April 15, 2026. Wortley was born on May 12, 1940 in Moriah, Trinidad and Tobago to the late Ann and Charles Spence. He worked as a bus drive with New York Transportation for several years before relocating to Florida.
Wortley was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He raised his children with values and morals. He always taught his children how to be strong and resilient. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
“Journey Boy” is survived by his wife, Stella Spence; 4 children, Melanie Spence, LaToya Spence, Sana Mackey, Alana Spence; 3 siblings, Rudolph Spence, Dawn Spence, Delta Spence; 5 grandchildren; and host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on from 4PM until services begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Dr. Oscar Noel Ocho, officiating.

Uncle ” Journey Boy” was the cool Uncle.(He was the one who gave me my first ever digital watch…lol) Safe transition Uncle. I’ll never forget you!!
