I knew Willie “TC/Top Cat” Creighton for over 50 years. We were good friends and motorcycle riding buddies for much of that time. TC was a hard working fun loving person who was a friend to all that knew him. I will miss his sense of humor and friendship. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family. There will never be another TC. May he rest in peace.

To the Crayton family and friends,
I worked with Willie in the 70’s & 80’s at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He was my mentor and friend for many years. Gary, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father.

There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe this incredible human being. For over 60 years of my 64 year old life he was a man’s man and a father figure who’s character was impeccable and worthy of emulation. Because of his existence I have my best friend in life and brother (Gary C Crayton). C-Boy you did “the thang;” and as the Bible says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children…” You truly left a legacy for all of us who knew, loved and had the privilege of knowing you. Now take your rest a be at peace, “job well done sir,” and I salute you! And in one of your most memorable sayings, “YES SAH…” I love you Pops.

I met Mr. Crayton ie Mr.‘(C)’ as I came to know him, in 1982. I came home with Gary and his girlfriend Retha for the weekend to go to Disney Worlds for the first. Mr. C didn’t have a lot to say when he spoke, but I knew he was a man of integrity and strength. I could only hope to be the man he was. Sleep in eternity my friend, you’re now with the Father, for the Word of God tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My comfort to the family in this time of griefing, is that they embrace the memories of Mr. C in their hearts, knowing they will someday see him again on the other side.
