Obituary:
William “Bill” Roundtree Sr., 76, of Orlando departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2026. Bill, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on April 3, 1950 to the late Juanita Roundtree and Washington Cooper.
Professionally, Bill became an electronic drafter and remained with the Harris Corporation until retirement. To those who knew Bill, he will be remembered as a caring, fun, outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand. He was always there to offer his support. He was skilled in grilling, enjoyed doing yardwork and working on his computer. Both family and friends would agree, Bill was someone you could trust and rely on. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Zonese Roundtree; 4 sons; 9 siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2525 W. Church Street, Orlando with Rev. Frederick Dyer, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
