Obituary:
Thomas Lee Green, Sr., 63, of Orlando departed this life on Monday, November 14, 2022. Thomas was born on July 26, 1959 in Orlando, Florida to the late Minnie Lee Green and Clinton Powell. Thomas received his formal education in Orange County Public Schools. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army and served until he was honorably discharged in 2004. During his military service, he worked as a mechanic for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching boxing. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory: wife, Lashonda N. Green; 3 children, Thomas Green, II, Whitney Moore and Brittany Moore; sisters, Margaret Lewis, Betty Ragin; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 11:00AM at Westmoreland Drive Church of Church of Christ, 215 N. Westmoreland Drive, Orlando with Minister Rodriguez Johnson, officiating. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with full military honors.
