Obituary:

Terrence Lamar “Gator” Scott, 33, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Terrence, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on June 15, 1988 to Tangela and Dexter Scott. He was employed as a fork lift operator for Pepsi Company at the time of his demise. He loved spending time with his family and friends. “Gator”, as he was affectionately called, was a die hard UF fan. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Terrence leaves to cherish precious memories: his parents, Tangela and Dexter Scott; sisters, Shatoria (Latifah) Scott-Broughton, Lhatoria Scott, Jasmine (Crystal) Dixon, Shateria Scott; paternal grandmother, Lula Mae Scott; maternal grandparents, Cora and William Curry; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 1:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4724 Raleigh Street, Orlando with Reverend Patrick Thomas, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
