Obituary:

Robert Milton Love Jr., 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Robert, affectionately known as “Bob” by his family, was born on May 15, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Elvie and Robert M. Love Sr. After completing his formal education, he pursued a career at Hewitt Packard and became an Electrical Engineer.

There is never a time we will say goodbye to the love of our lives. Just a simple: I’ll see you later and save a place for me behind God’s glorious gates. Known for being an amazing husband, provider, father, brother and grandfather – Bob was also known for his love of jazz music and various Motown recording artists. He found peace in tinkering with anything related to electronics. Bob was also an accomplished inventor.

He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife Gwendolyn J. Love; 3 children, Arthur D. (Jackeline) Love, Toni J. (Rev. Timothy) Liggins, Anthony Q. Love; sister, Barbara (George Sr.) Griswell; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and numerous friends.

A service of memory will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 2:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Reverend Timothy Liggins, officiating.
