Obituary:
Rhonda D. Leggins, 64, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Rhonda was born on January 31, 1962 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Lucy Johnson and Joe A. Leggins. She was a woman who radiated love, kindness, and faith in everything she did. Rhonda was deeply devoted to the Lord, and her unwavering faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of the African American Chamber of Commerce (AACCC), Central Florida.
Rhonda had a fun-spirited soul whose smile was stunning that it would light-up any room. She took on many passions which included styling hair, makeup artistry and fashion; she could do some hair and make-up! What gave her the most joy in life was raising her children, whom she loved with all her heart. Rhonda was a beautiful, giving and kind individual that made a lasting impact on many lives, she will forever be missed.
Rhonda is survived by her devoted husband, Joe Cochran; daughters, Kristinn Potts, Jazmin Potts; sisters, Martha Perin, Debra A. Balams; brother, Robert (Kennette) Leggins Sr.; and a host of other loving relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 10;00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Minister Robert Leggins, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
