Obituary:

Renwick (Rennie) Gerard Beachum, 56, of Vero Beach, FL departed this life on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Renwick was born on August 26, 1964 in Gifford, Florida to Samuel Thomas (S.T.) and Hortense Beachum. Rennie, affectionately known as “Chin”, was raised in Gifford and never lost his enthusiasm for life, regardless of his circumstance.

Rennie was a loving partner, son, brother, father, and grandfather; a friend to many in the community. His passion was making others happy with his incredible cooking. He also enjoyed lawn beautification projects from which he also made a living. He dressed to impress and wouldn’t be without a new pair of Nike Air Max on his feet.

Rennie is survived by his: mother, Hortense Beachum; daughters, Kershunda (Keyana) Washington, Jacqueline (Luis) Mosquera; son, Lamar Sanders; brothers, Anthony (Michelle) Beachum, Samuel (Sherrie) Donaldson, Alonzo (Perrilyn) Beachum; 4 grandchildren; longtime partner, Chiquita Bagley; Godfather, Robert Temple; Godsister, Angela Walker; a host of other relatives and many friends. Rennie will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 10:00AM until services begin at 11:00 AM, St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, 4250 38th Avenue, Gifford with Pastor Andrew Jefferson, officiating. Interment: Gifford Cemetery, Gifford.
