Obituary:
Philbert Augustus “Andy” Beckford, 66, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Philbert was born on April 13, 1960 in St. Thomas, Jamaica WI to Agatha and William Beckford.
Philbert had a passion for landscaping and lawncare. That passion lead him to employment with Dobsons Wood and Water landscaping company as an irrigation worker for several years prior to his demise. He was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. Aside from his professional work, he loved telling stories and spending time with his friends. Philbert was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our beloved “Andy” is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Beckford; 4 children, Vinroy, Sheldon, Monique, and Malika; 3 brothers; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and many friends. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.
