Obituary:
Pearl Nathan, 92, of Grand Island, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Pearl was born on December 31, 1933 in Little Rock, AR to the late Eugenia Anderson and James Beaman.
After completing her formal education, Pearl continued her education and later earned her Associates Degree in Education. Professionally, Pearl served her community as an educator, and taught for several years with Monroe County Public Schools, New York. Her devotion to the craft was driven by her enthusiasm for positively impacting students and working alongside other passionate educators.
Pearl leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends, regardless of race, creed or color, just loved by all. She is survived by her 3 children, Gwendolyn Johnson, Jacqueline (Billy) Williams, Milton Nathan; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, former students, colleagues and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 9:00 AM until service begin at 11:00 AM, Orlando West Ministries, 3005 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Pastor Dexter King, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
