Obituary:
Patricia E. Allen, 78, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026. Patricia was born on September 15, 1947 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Alma and Vernon Yancey Sr. Professionally, she was employed as a nurse for several years.
Patricia was a woman with a heart of gold. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to family gatherings and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving son, Charles (Raina) Yancey; siblings, Michael Yancey, Leon Yancey, Shirlene Yancey; 3; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 4PM – 6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, 2:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Chaplain David Outing, officiating. Interment: Boston Cemetery, Oviedo.
