Obituary:
Owen L. Hector, 79, Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Owen was born on December 17, 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica, WI to Edna and Cecil Hector. Owen was employed as a corporate executive with Sherwin-Williams Company for several years.
Owen was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and grandchildren. Owen was a fun, loving person that had a smile that would light up any room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Owen is survived by his loving children, Christopher Hector, Gerald (Sharon-Kaye) Hector, Brian Hector, Nyree (Steve) Burroughs; brother, Oswald (Pauline) Brown; 11 grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
A service of memory will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10:00 AM at The Hope Church of Orlando, 3032 Monte Carlo Trail, Orlando, with Arch Bishop Allen T.D. Wiggins, officiating.
Rest well Daddy. You lived a life of purpose and impact. You touched so many lives with your kindness and genuine care. You left a significant vibration in the earth and generations to come will see it and be inspired.
Rest well my friend and schoolmate. You have successfully completed your job on earth. RIEP. 👏👏💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏.
