Obituary:
Mitchell Ervin Nicholson, 62, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, March 30, 2026. Mitchell, affectionately called “Hollywood” by family and friends, was born on August 26, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York to Annie and Leroy Nicholson.
He was a man that would give his all to help anyone. Mitchell provided and protected his family with all his might. Anyone who knew him knows he loved fishing. He was a loving and caring man that was determined to enjoy life. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his passing: daughter, Jayla Nicholson; sister, Sharon Nicholson; 2 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Caleb P. Danner, officiating.
