Obituary:
Michael Edward King, 70, of Orlando departed this life on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Michael was born in Savannah, GA on January 28, 1956 to the late Edith Davis and Willard King.
After completinghis formal education, Michael enlisted in the US Navy and served his country honorably. To those who knew Michael, he will be remembered as a caring, respectable person who was willing to lend a helping hand. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosalind King; children, Charles (Nadine) Murvin, Ricardo Murvin; raised as his children, Andrianna McLeod, Deiandria Barnes, Dwayne Wilson; 3 siblings, Robert King, Matrena Davis, Yolanda Davis; 1 grandson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando.
