Obituary:
Lincoln F. Myrie, 78, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Lincoln was born on September 14, 1946 in Portland, Jamaica, WI to the late Pearl and Linton Myrie. Lincoln was employed as a drive with Lynx Transportation for several years.
Lincoln was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Lincoln is survived by his loving wife, Joy Johnson; 5 children, Ian Myrie, Latoya Myrie, Nicole Myrie, Sancha Myrie, Havia Myrie; 13 siblings; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 4PM-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, 10:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
