Obituary:

Lessie Lee Scott, 89, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Lessie was born on August 31, 1934 in Tunica, Mississippi to the late Mary Alice Davis and Booker T. Davis, Sr.

Mother Scott was a very kind, generous, loving woman with a heart of gold. She dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She was an active and faithful member of Full Gospel Breakthrough Ministry, Orlando even when her health began to decline. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mother Scott leaves her precious memories with her 4 loving children, Dorothy Davis, Martha (Donald) Eady, Marvin B. (Mary) Scott, James E. (Cathy) Scott; sisters, Lena Ruth Jackson, Lula Mae Scott; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 5-7PM at Full Gospel Breakthrough Ministry, 4532 Raleigh Street, Orlando. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00AM, Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Drew Avenue, Orlando with Derrick Hutchins II, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
