Obituary:

Joe Willie Davis, 61, of Apopka, departed this life on Friday, July 30, 2021. Joe was born on May 28, 1960 to Cora Lee and Booker T. Davis, Jr. in Orlando, Florida. Joe graduated from Edgewater High School, where he earned the title of State Champion in Wrestling. In his spare time, Joe loved to go fishing. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his loving wife, Alyssa Ann Davis; children, Joe, Tiffany, Jeremy, Jason, Jotis, Jacob, Justin, Brianna, Joey; step children, Robert Lewis, Brandon Snyder; sisters, Lena (Leslie) Ward, Jessie (Gerald) Morgan, Jewel (Robin) Mayo, Millie (Joe) Early; brothers, Booker Davis, Eugene (Bridgette) Davis, Matt (Cindy) Davis; 24 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 1:00PM at The Lakeside Church, 100 Countyline Court, Oakland with Pastor Jason Hitte, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville, FL.

  3. I meet Joe Willie six years ago when I moved to Catalina Park. My cousin Theo McWhite recommended him when I needed some trees cut.
    Such a great kind hearted man with a big smile.
