Obituary:

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Boyd, Sr., 59, of Leesburg, was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Jeff was born on February 22, 1961 in Ocala, Florida to the late Rosa Lee Dillard and Aaron Boyd Sr.

He attended Lake County Public Schools and graduated from Eustis High School. He went on to enlist in the United States Army in August 1979. He was later honorably discharged in December 1981. Jeff was known for his love of God and completed a course at Greater Holy Temple School of Ministry. He was a member at Greater Holy Temple Ministries Inc., located in Leesburg, FL.

Jeff was known for his many talents and charismatic spirit. He was known for his kindness and his compassion at heart for people. He loved to share a word for the Lord with anyone he came into contact with. He loved to help others, he loved to cook, and he loved to dance. he was known as the “life of the party” no matter where he went. he was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Crystal Taylor, Dalisa Duncan, Whitney Boyd, Shapharia Boyd, Danielle Boyd, Angelique Boyd, Jasmine Boyd, Monique Boyd; sons, Jeffrey L. Boyd Jr., Jerrod Daniels, Prince Boyd, Dominique Boyd; father, Aaron Boyd Sr.; sisters, Gwendolyn (Fred) Williams, Tonya (Perry) Brooker, Sharon (Inol) Desantille, Sophia (Ronald) Pollard, Janice Boyd Oliver, Brenda (Sylvester) Jones; brothers, Aaron (Betty) Boyd Jr., Gregory (Shirley) Boyd Sr., Vincent Boyd, Reggie (Angela) Howard, Ronald (Arlene) Boyd, Andre Howard; 17 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 9:00AM until services begin at 11:00AM, New Life Covenant Church of God, 33741 S. Haines Creek Road, Leesburg, FL with Reverend Mark Brown, officiating. Interment: Mt. Olive Cemetery, Eustis, FL with full military honors.

You kept us laughing and that will definitely be missed (Your sense of humor). Rest In Peace, you may be gone in the flesh but your memories will be cherished forever.

  9. Reat In Paradise Jeff. Heaven has gained another angel. I remember the last time we ran into each other and you prayed and prophetically spoke something that only God knew. I remember our families growing up on Selleen Dr. You have fought a good fight and you have finished your course. My sincere condolences to the Boyd family.

Jeff’s SMILE AND Godly kind words to me when my brother passed is what I will always remember, he said, “Chris I see your pain and I feel your sorrow, but I want you to know that there is no pain or sorrow that God cannot heal, trust Him.
