Obituary:
Gwendolyn Coleman-Bowen, 67, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Gwendolyn, affectionately called Gwen, was born on February 20, 1952 in Laurel, Mississippi to Rosa and J D Coleman. She worked in hotel housekeeping prior to her demise. She was a loving mother, sister grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Gwen leaves to mourn her loss: her son, Michael (Leslie) Mathis, Jr.; sister, Linda Coleman; brothers, Tyrone Benton, Jerome Benton, Tommie Bell; 7 grandchildren. We miss you. Rest and be at peace.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 12 Noon at Mt. Olive Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 745 Woods Avenue, Orlando with Reverend Diane Hinton, officiating.
