Obituary:

Gloria Jean Daniels, 74, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1947 in Folkston, GA to the late Annie Bell and Bryant Lee Sims. Professionally, Gloria worked in the bakery department of Morrison’s Cafeteria for over 30 years.

Gloria dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She enjoyed cooking and baking sweet potato pies. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Pastor Keisha (Trayvis) Rolle-McNeal, Monica Rolle; son, Tony Douglas; siblings, Bobby (Lucille) Sims, Bennie (Earlean) Ford, Jerria Ford-Jamieson, Shelia (Ernest) Marshall, Johnny Ford, Billy Fuce; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4PM-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 1:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Keisha Rolle-McNeal, officiating.
