Obituary:

Franklin E. McPherson, 75, of Orlando departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Franklin was born in Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies to the late Linette and Easton McPherson on September 9, 1945.

To those who knew Franklin, he will be remembered as a caring, outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand. He was always there to offer his support from taking care of his family, and to his grandchildren, Franklin was someone you could trust and rely on. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His memories will be cherished by his wife: Lurline McPherson; sons, Ian (Tamara) McPherson, Franklyn McPherson; step daughters, Carolyn Bennett, Vanice Morris, Shawna Anderson; sisters, Beverly (Irvan) Quire, Marva Tendale; brothers, Neville (Jennie) Wilkerson, Conrod McPherson; 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
