Obituary:
Ellen V. Oakley-Bryan, 89, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, July 24, 2020. Ellen was born on December 27, 1930 in Kingston, Jamaica, WI to Adviria Rookwood and Sidney Oakley. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her: husband, Cecil Bryan; daughters, Sylvia Allen, Monica Duval, Eileen Duval, Norma (Lindo) Jackson; sons, Leslie Rookwood, Delroy (Karen) Duval, Fitzroy Wright; sister, Jenny Oakley; 27 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, 3:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastors Ranford Clark and Michael Reid, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka, FL.
