Obituary:
Dwayne Mervyn Gookool, 29, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Dwayne was born on September 26, 1996 in Orlando, Florida to Frenchy and Wayne Gookool. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools. He was a man that would give his all to help anyone. He worked in carpet upholstery prior to his demise. He provided and protected his family with all his might. Anyone who knew him knows he deeply loved his children. Dwayne was determined to enjoy life. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his passing: son, Dwayne Gookool Jr.; daughters, Carla Gookool, Kaliyah Gookool; parents, Frenchy Gookool and Wayne Gookool; sister, Stacia Gookool; brother, Wayne Gookool Jr.; paternal grandmother, Ruby Gookool. He also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4-6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, 2:00 PM at West Orlando Christian Center COGIC, 1301 E. Bay Street, Winter Garden with Pastor Inez Nobles, officiating.
