Obituary:
Donald S. White, 45, of Sanford departed this life on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Donald, affectionately known as Duck, was born on March 24, 1981, in Sanford, Florida to Diann White and the late Donald Brooks. He attended Seminole County Public Schools. Donald was a successful businessman. He was the proud owner of Ground Up Trucking LLC. He also worked as a home builder. He was employed by Blue Ox.
Donald was a loving father and extraordinary son. Donald was a caring person and loved hard. He had a special love for dogs. Donald was a beacon of light, illuminating the lives of those around him.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Diann White; 3 children, De’Shawndre Smith, Donyla White, Donica White; 2 bonus children, Kayvon Sanders and Jylasia Word; 2 brothers, Donald Brooks, TreDose Scott; 2 sisters, Amber Boone, Shantoria Wright; devoted companion, Errica Sanders; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 12:00 Noon at Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1203 S. Olive Avenue, Sanford with Reverend John White, officiating.
