Obituary:

Dinnetta Adina Johnson, 91, of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2020. Dinnetta was born in Bunkers Hill, Trelawny, Jamaica, WI to Ephraim and Adorah Johnson on July 14, 1928. She worked for Walt Disney Company for 16 years. She was an extremely accomplished seamstress and dressmaker in Jamaica for many years. She made many clothes and donated them to help others in need Dinnetta was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and she will be sorely missed. She was involved in her church and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. She loved dancing and music. You could always hear Dinnetta singing her gospel songs. Two of her favorite songs were “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”.

Dinnetta leaves to honor her love and memories to her loving daughter, Loran Curtis; sister, Icilda Woodley; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 5-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Reverend Dennis Heckles, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.

    Sister Dinnetta was a faithful member of Hyland Baptist Church until her health failed her. We at her church will miss her singing in our services on Sunday morning . She was a wonderful Christian women,but she is with her Savior to enjoy her new life until we meet her when our time comes. Our condolences are with the family May God bless you during this time of your grieving.
