Obituary:

Diane T. Bowens, 56, of Winter Garden, fell asleep and entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Diane was born on March 8, 1965 in Kingstree, SC to Rose and Willie Tisdale, Sr. Professionally, she was employed as a Training manager with UPS Company for several years. She was an active and faithful member of New Bethel AME Church, Orlando prior to her demise. Diane dedicated her life to serving God, her family and community. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She was a devoted aunt, servant and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Diane is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Darrell B. Bowens; mother, Rose C. Tisdale; father, Willie Tisdale, Sr.; step son, Dereyco Bowens; brother, Willie (Ashley) Tisdale, Jr.; sisters, Teresa Tisdale, Willette Tisdale; and a host of other relatives, church family, co-workers and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, 11:00AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Ronald E. Williams, Sr., officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
