Obituary:
Charles Christopher Harper, 71, Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Charles was born on January 23, 1955 in St. George, Barbados to Ernesta and George Phillips. For several years Charles was employed as a Supervisor with Dollar Rent-A-Car.
Charles was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He, along with his wife Dionne, were active members of Grace Bible Church, instilling love, wisdom, and Christian values into their family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Dionne Combs-Harper; daughter, Nicola A. Marshall; stepchildren, Andy (Carolyn) Jones Jr., Aundra L. Jones, Jeffery (Empress) Jones, Carl A. (Auyonda) Cohen, Brandon Combs, Kristen Combs; mother, Ernesta Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 5 siblings; and a host other relatives and friends.
A service of memory will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando, with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating.
