Obituary:
Charles Christopher Harper, 71, Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Charles was born on January 23, 1955 in St. George, Barbados to Ernesta and George Phillips. For several years Charles was employed as a Supervisor with Dollar Rent-A-Car.
Charles was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He, along with his wife Dionne, were active members of Grace Bible Church, instilling love, wisdom, and Christian values into their family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Dionne Combs-Harper; daughter, Nicola A. Marshall; stepchildren, Andy (Carolyn) Jones Jr., Aundra L. Jones, Jeffery (Empress) Jones, Carl A. (Auyonda) Cohen, Brandon Combs, Kristen Combs; mother, Ernesta Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 5 siblings; and a host other relatives and friends.
A service of memory will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando, with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating.

Charles ypu were truly a good friend who cared about everyone and always had a smile, a joke, and a listing ear for all. You will truly be missed.

Charles Harper, what can I say? You were a great friend, brother and a great Samaritan to all of us. You were a gift 🎁 from God to us and taken from us at an abrupt time. The legacy you leave behind will always be cherished. I knew you for 30+ years and there was never a dull moment. That Kool Aid smile 😃 and spontaneous witt and enormous energy will 4ever be miss. Your mission here has been accomplished. Your new mission is being a Guardian Angel 😇 to your loved ones. On behalf of all of us, we love you and miss you. TILL WE MEET AGAIN my brother.

I fondly remember Charles back in the Dollar Rent A Car days. He always had a huge smile on his face! He always went out of his way to lend a hand & say hello. My deepest condolences to his family & friends. May he RIP.
