She was the glue of her family and a devoted mother, servant leader and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn leaves no mourners for she lived a rich Christian life among loving and devoted family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Sweeting; 2 granddaugters, Kristen (Leo) Nixon, Jordan Sweeting. She will live on in the hearts and minds of her family, other relatives, former students and colleagues, church family and many friends. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

  1. Ms. Limquee will be missed. She was a kind and loving person who always took care of Ashley when she was in her care. Our last conversation she stated she enjoyed taking Ashley because she knew she would always have food with her. LOL. I never worried because I knew she loved her as much as her own child. You will be missed. But heaven is rejoicing.

  2. Mrs. Limquee was my music teacher at Sadler Elementary. All the students loved her and I remember she was strict in her class but she made sure we learned and had fun. Music class with her and the musical concerts are some of my most cherished memories. Job Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant. God Bless her family and love ones.

  9. Our condolences to Mrs. LimQue’s family. She was so loving and wonderful during our time together with YPD. She was witty, fun and knowledgeable on getting the children and youth excited about learning about the Lord. We had a connection because of having a daughter named Kimberly. Sleep on Mrs. LimQue we’ll see you in the morning.

  10. Kim, thank you so much for sharing your mom with us! She was the best cruise partner EVER and those memories will make us laugh over and over. Her humor without trying to be funny always caught us off guard (Coco the clown LOL!) She was a great mom and you have been a wonderful daughter. May peace, love and blessings continue to follow you and your babies!

Kudos to the glorious and joyous times we had growing up together, the unforgettable conversations we had over the phone and the memorable hours we spent organizing the Omaha Community Reunions. Carolyn was the glue that held everything together, the foundation we build on and the force that kept everything moving forward. I thank God for her, as I will miss her conversations about enjoying her boiled peanuts and pecans. Far this is the season.
