Obituary:
Bhagwandai “Sylvia” Singh, 81, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, June 21, 2021. Sylvia, as she was called by family and friends, was born on October 12, 1939 in Stanley Town, West Bank, Guyana to Hiria and Mohan Singh. Sylvia was self employed and owned her own import/export trade service. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her six daughters, Ruby Singh, Janice (Robert) Dwarka, Donna Springer, Karen Maraj, Loren Singh, Pallavi Lemon; sister, Yvonne Singh; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive guests on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6-8PM at the mortuary. A service of memory will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, 5:00 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Due to limited seating, the services will be live streamed via Postell’s Mortuary FACEBOOK page.
