Obituary:
Basil “B” Walkes, 39, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, April 23, 2021. Basil was born on September 26, 1981 in Brooklyn, NY to Debra and Gerald Walkes. In his spare time, Basil enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Basil is survived by his daughter, Naiylah Walkes; parents, Debra and Gerald Walkes; siblings, Salima, Abdiyl, Joel, Nigel, Anwar, and Mariam Walkes; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A service of memory will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 2:00 PM, Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando
