Obituary:
April Michelle Milligan, 39, of Orlando, Florida, departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. April was born on April 26, 1986, to Matthew and Valerie Milligan in Orlando, Florida. She grew up in a loving home with parents and family who cherished her for the entire 39 years of her life.
April was educated in the Orange County School System and a proud 2004 graduate of Olympia High School. She was an honor student, a member of the crew team and played clarinet in the school band. During her youth, April was also active in Jack and Jill of America, the McKnight Achievers 2003/2004 Regional Black History Brain Bowls Champions and the Delteens… a testament to her brilliance and leadership while establishing a foundation for lifelong friendships.
April earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in May 2008. She went on to build a career at Lockheed Martin in Human Resources, where she was admired for her professionalism, compassion, and dedication to helping others thrive. She eventually left the corporate world to pursue her passion as an entrepreneur, founding her own jewelry company.
A woman of faith and creativity, April’s Christian journey began with education at Trinity Lutheran school, supporting her development as a youth growing up in King’s Way Baptist Church where she gave her life to Christ. With this spirit and her infectious smile, April lived a life marked by joy and laughter, extraordinary kindness, dedication, and love.
April will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, devoted sister, niece and loyal friend, whose light continues to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind. With hearts full of love, we celebrate the life of April Michelle Milligan, a radiant soul whose kindness, beauty, and grace touched everyone she met.
She is survived by her parents, Matthew and Valerie Milligan; her brother, Matthew Leon; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends who were blessed to have known her.
