Obituary:

Agnes Hudson Cox, 80, of Orlando, FL, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Agnes was born on February 2, 1940 in Washington, Georgia to Abither and Harvey Hudson Sr. She was a devoted member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Orlando, where she was apart of the Silver Angels Ministry. She was also a proud member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. Ms. Agnes retired as an Insurance Manager from Prudential Company in the 1990’s. Agnes enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and living in the light of the God she knew so well. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: devoted sons, Anthony (Shirley) Cox, Kevin (Jerri) Cox; brothers, Harvey (Gail) Hudson, Jr., Thomas (Karlyn) Hudson; sisters, Gertrude Wade, Patricia (Robert) Clayton, Josephine Wright; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, 12:00 Noon at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando, with Elder Phillip Jones, officiating.

Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
